The Midtown Scholar is pleased to welcome Sean Marshall in concert for August's Third in the Burg! 

Hailing from coastal New Jersey music town Asbury Park, Sean Marshall uprooted from the shore in 2014 and travelled inland, finding himself in Columbus, OH with a handful of songs and over a decade of performing experience.

Marshall’s forthcoming full-length effort, New, transfers the sentiments of displacement and transition onto a palette of rock tunes. Supported by his band, The Near Miss (Dakota McElley- bass; Corbin Pratt- guitar & pedal steel; Brady Oxender- drums), NEW‘s 10 songs offer a refreshing way to look at change- for all its comforts and discomforts- as an exciting chapter of one’s life.
