We made it, Harrisburg. After four-hundred-and-nineteen days of closure, we’re opening the bookstore again to the public. On Friday, May 28th, we’re thrilled to welcome you into the bookstore once again. For the first few weeks, the bookstore and café will be open every Friday and Saturday only from 10am – 6pm.

This decision wasn’t made lightly, and we’ll continue to follow CDC guidelines and recommendations to keep our booksellers, customers, and the greater community of Harrisburg safe and healthy. Now that the general public has full access to the vaccine, we’re confident that we can prepare a bookstore and café that is safe for our customers once again.

While we'll initially be operating with these temporary hours, we will look to expand those hours throughout the summer. Some other temporary precautions we’ll be taking:

• All indoor seating and tables will be removed from the bookstore

• Masks will be required to be worn when inside the bookstore

• Restrooms will not be available to the public

We please ask that you be patient and understanding with our booksellers and your fellow customers and readers. It’s been a tough year for everyone, so we appreciate your kindness as we integrate our booksellers and customers back into the bookstore community.
