Mark your calendars, book lovers. Our most popular annual event is back — and bigger than ever. The Harrisburg Book Festival is proud to host our annual outdoor tent sale with over 30,000 used books priced at $1, $2, and $3. The book sale will take place on Verbeke Street in front of the Broad Street Market, adjacent to the bookstore, from Wednesday, October 9th through Sunday, October 13th. This year’s sale will feature bargain books and hidden gems in fiction, history, politics, art, children’s, poetry, photojournalism, biography, sports, and much, much more. Rain or shine, we'll see you there!

PARKING

Free 2-hour parking is available around the neighboring Broad Street Market. Limited free parking in the lot behind our store. Metered street parking is available on 3rd and Verbeke Streets, 8am-7pm Monday-Saturday. Some nearby unmetered streets have residential-only parking from 8am-10am and 3pm-5pm weekdays.
